First Fingure Print Notice

Guys,

My attorney sent me notification saying USCIS received my I-485 application on 02/27/04 and the next step in the case involves the USCIS forwarding me a finger print notice.

Can you guys tell me in how may days I can expect to receive the first finger print notice from USCIS? If one applies with Vermont Service Center, what place one need to go for fingure printing? I want to know if this will be done in Washington DC area (where I live) or I'll have to go out of station for fingure printing?

As your name implies it is a GC disaster! Be patient. You (and your lawyer) will receive a FP notice with the place and time. No need to worry or rush as the FP results expire in 15 months and you do not want a second FP notice after that...
In the meantime and there will be lots of time, join the litigation activities and other campaigns.

Just for information... the letter from my attorney says:
"The next step in this case involves the USCIS forwarding you a fingerprint
notice. Please notify our office when you receive this notice as well as
the date you are fingerprinted."

It seems the attorneys may not get the finger print notification from USCIS, I guess.

Anyway thanks again for your reply... :)
 
My 485 was sent in Dec. 2003. I still didn't get FP notice yet. Guess have to be patient.
 
Thanks liul for the info. That gives me an idea of how long it would take to get the finger print notice. Yes I need to be patient now.
