hej all
I received my receipt for EAD after 3 weeks waiting of whole package for AOS. It asked for scheduling fingerprint date.Called NBC and scheduled two weeks later. Now I have fingerprints in 4 days, dont expect other receipts to come before it(still no answer for I 130 and 485). What happens when I receive AOS receipts after fingerprints. Do I have to go again. I do no if this fp now are only for EAD or they will take automatic for I 485 too(although without its receipt). Do you know? :confused:
 
EAD and AOS

EAD is only one finger a picture and a signature. AOS is all figerprints and picture and signature. You have to have both NOA for each apllictions. In other words for you only have EAD NOA then after you get the AOS NOA you will have to go back and get biometics and figerprints for the AOS NOA. The biometrics and for all individuals are tied to the reciepts for NOA. If you get the NOA for AOS take with you and you will have both done on the same day so you won't have to come back.

thank u Tony for reply, I wait for mirracle to receive NOA for I 485 in 3 days since its over 1 month that I wait. Good luck for you too.
 
I have the same kind of question
When I got my letter to go to the my fingerprints for I-765 , I brought both forms (I-765 and I-485) with me. They took fingerprints from all of my 10 fingers :) and picture, 7 days after that, the online status for my I-485 said: "the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."
Does this mean I don't have to go back to the fingerprints anymore or what?
I am a little bit confused with that background check , is that the same thing or no?

I filed my AOS sometime during the 1st week of march and and received receipt notices for I-765 10 days later...i reside in san antonio,TX. I am waiting anxiously for my letter to go for fingerprinting.
Any idea on recent timeframes from Chicago office (NBC)....

hej Rkg. that was quick. Did you get receipt only for I 765 or you also got received for I 130 and I 485? Just wana know if we are in same boat. I am nervous I didn t get the others.
