Hy guys,

My husband and me did the fingerprints the last week. I received a yellow letter with the information that I have to take with me to the interview. Actualy it says take Driver license.
Well, I received this letter this past Monday. My husband didn´t receive yet.

I have been reading different post about name check and time to take it, blablabla..
Why he didn´t receive yet???. Is it because they could find something in the name check. I am confusing.
My husband didn´t have any conviction or something like that.

Please help

I think USCIS is biased against menfolks. My wife too got her YL within one week of FP. We both got interview letters together after 4 weeks. I got my YL one week after receiving IL!!!!.

Getting or nor getting YL does not mean any thing. Next event you wait is "transferred to local office".

Not everyone will receive a YL, I never got one.

Give it some time, your FP was just last week. Depending on name uniqueness, FBI backlog, the DO's schedule load, it can easily take several weeks for an interview letter. As madh4 mentioned, you'll get an online status update first, followed by a couple daily LUD changes that indicate an IL is about to be sent out.

In addition, even if you and your husband sent your application in the same envelope, there is no guarantee they get processed simultaneously, it's possible you and he end up with different interview and oath dates.

Relax, look at my signature, I still haven't gotten my interview letter yet and the yellow letter took almost a month to arrive.
