Fingerprinting?

Hi
My Mom has a 10 year multi entry visa. She will be coming to the US next month. I know that all visa category applicants are fingerprinted. I want to know if she has to go to the consulate at chennai for it or that will be done at POE.

both depending on when the interview is.

They start collecting prints at the embassy from some time late july or August, while at airport a photo and prints have been collected since last Dec. There are some airports which have exit screeing whre you have to sign off at a kiosk or something (im not sure about the procedure).

Thanks for the reply. I am under the impression that since she has a 10 year visa she does not have to go for another visa interview. She just has to travel with that. Because of the recent fingerprinting procedure, i had this query of where she will be doing it... departure time or at POE.
