Fingerprinting still not received for spouse, mine done 4month back

Hi Mine is Sub Labor(June 2000)
Filed 140 and 485 concurrently in June 2005 for me and my wife.

My finger printing(code3) notice came in Aug 2005 and was done in Aug 2005.
But for my wife I still did not receive any fingerprinting request. It is December.
When I called USCIS they said that each application is seperate and timing may differ but how much....????

Anybody with same experience. What should I do, please suggest.
