Fingerprinting Question - SOS

Dear Friends,

I got a Fingerprinting notice at my previous address (in New York), to get finger-printed at Jamica,NY.

The problem is I live in California and it not possible for me to go to NY to get finger-printed.

What do you guys recommend in this case. Anyone with similar prior experience?

Goto your local INS office in California with the FP appointment letter and tell then that you live in CA now. They should be able to do your FP. But go when they are free like before they open in the morning (they might be in good mood).

I got my FP done in Minneapolis whereas my FP notice was in Dallas.
