Fingerprinting in India

If My wife is in India at the time we get a fingerprinting notice, can she do fingerprinting in India ? Where ? I would guess at the US embassy ? Do they have finger print card ? Do they send it to FBI or we will have to send it to FBI. Anyone has doen this before Please post all the relevant steps.

I don\'t think she will be able to do FP in India if you are doing Adjustment of Status ( I-485 ).
