Assuming you are referring to the N-400 process, in addition to the appointment notice, you will need to take the Alien Registration card with you.
When I go for my biometrics in less than three weeks, I will have with me, in addition, my driver's license (which I carry with me always), my current and expired passports (abundance of caution).
