Hello fellow applicants
as I have mentioned several times, that I will write my experience as I go through the process of immigration, it is time to write about the fingerprinting process. It is really not a big deal but hope this posting will give some idea what to expect when you go for fingerprintin, biometrics.....

My spouse was with me when we went to the asc for fingerprinting. As soon as we walked in, the first step was a private security officer. He looked at my asc appointment letter(I did an early walk in). Then he wanted picture identification( gave him my drivers license). He asked me to fill out a form. It was just a basic form with name address, date of birth etc. There was a line for alien number, I wrote the alien number from the asc letter.
after filling uo the form, I was called in( I was the only applicant in the whole building, my wife just accompanied me, they did not ask anything from her).
Using a santized tissue he wiped my fingers, he also wiped the sensor, then he took the asc letter and scanned it. Then he took prints of all of my ten fingers,
I just had to put my hand on top of a scanner, unlike the old days when the used to use ink, it is cleaner now.
afterwards he asked me to sign on a electronic pad, then he took my picture.
Then he stamped and signed my appointment letter, gave me the appointment letter back and a survey form to fill out about my experience there.
The survey has only four or five question, filled it out and dropped it in a designated box and we were done.

I tried to be as detailed as I could. Hope this helps some one someway
goodluck to us all
