I got my finger printing notice today and INS asked me to do finger printing in late May. Can I do it earlier just by walking into the office directly? Still, how long does it take to get I 485 approved after getting finger printing done? Thanks if anyone could tell me.....
 
Do not hurry. Finger prints are good only for 15 months. I did my FP year ago and perhaps will do FP again very soon. Some people already got notice to do FP again, because 15 months have passed since first FP.
 
thanks for the information. So my wife should also receive her own copy of finger printing notice, correct?

What's ur RD?

If it has been a year since your RD and you received your FP notice, it helps to do an early FP. Just go on a ""weekday"" and you will be out in 20 min.

If your RD is in last couple of months, don't sweat. do your FP on the appointment date and save yourself a workday.
