My I-485 RD is 9/14/2000, I\'ve received Fingerprints notice with a yellow form, I\'ve called my lawyer and he said:
"Actually, that yellow form is merely a mistake. It was a form designed to
update very old I-485 cases, where a second set of fingerprints had to be
taken, because the case had been sitting without decision for more than 15
months. A few (lazy) clerks at the INS are mistakenly sending it out with
lots of other fingerprints notices, where that sort of additional
information is almost never required (especially given the new laws that
allow you to change employers, etc.). So, you can just ignore it."
Is this true, I just would like to make sure, please let me know. Thanks
