Just had fingerprint today in Memphis, TN. but I was surprised that they used the ink- traditional method for me. Does anyone know whether the processing time for traditional method is longer than computer screen method or not?

Thanks!

I think that finger prints done by laser scans go to FBI more faster than traditional finger prints done on cards.

LUD updated for FP result

I did FP1 on Oct 4, 2004 with ink. Today I got email saying:
"On October 14, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

I wonder whether this means FBI finished the background check and name check. Some people talked about two different type check. Can some one explain those different check for me?

Finger crossed....

Thanks!
