Fingerprint status

Hi,

I just called the FBI to check my fingerprint status but he just said that he had sent it back to the INS. He would not tell me if it had been approved. Has this happened to anyone else.

Yes - this is normal. Next your AVM...

will either say \'....under review\' or directly to \'... process resumed\'. Mine was a 2 stage process - many folks go directly to \'..process resumed\'. Here is my timeline:
FP: 4/12/02 (Computerized)
FBI sent to INS: 4/12
VSC AVM to \'..under review\': 4/18
VSC AVM to \'..process resumed\': 4/24
