Fingerprint Status

I completed my fingerprints on 12/04/2004,but status on USCIS site still does'nt shows any updates(it has same initial message).
I called FBI today and she said that my fingerprint was received same day and it was sent to INS on same day...So does it mean everything is OK with fingerprints????? :confused:

Pls share yr views...

In my case too there was no update after FP was done on 06/22/04 and on 11/08/04 TSC approved my I-140 and transferred I-485 to Dallas District Office. FBI confirmed sending FP results back to TSC on the same day as FP date. According to 1-800 number, TSC may or may not update the status to FP received and there is nothing to worry about.

Folks,

We did our FPs on 03/03/05 and today there is an LUD and message change saying FPs received and the processing has resumed, We will be contacted if additional info. is required or once a decision is made... But this is for VSC though.

FP message change and 485 approval prediction !!....

Hi Folks,

What is the significance of the message changing or not changing !. Will that make any difference !!.

Scenario 1: I mean if the message changes does that mean our 485 approval will come very soon ( i mean in 30 days time !!).

Scenario 2 :If the message has not changed and FBI confirms that the FP is complete.Does that mean our 485 case has not been opened and the approval will be delayed ?

Please feel free to share your views !!!
 
Hey Guys,

Has anyone in situation where FBI was not able to read their fingerprints? What's next? How long is the wait for receiving second fingerprint? Any other thoughts!! Your quick response will be greatly appreciated.
 
Message did change - CSC

My 485 message also changed today after finger prints - around 1 week after taking them - did early FP as well - the original date was 3/17. This is CSC.
 
I feel that the FP message is updated mainly based on the Service Center. It looks like some service centers are not very keen on updating the msg ? Any one want to share thoughts ?
