fingerprint status not updated

Hi Guys..Me and my wife completed our fingerprints on 12/03/04,but uscis status is not updated so far.Status is not even updated that they have issued fingerprint notices...Is it normal or there is something wrong.Also after fingerprints,do we need to contact FBI for reports or not...

Here is the details of my case..Filed in NSC in EB2 category
I140/485 RS 11/08/04
fingerprint notice 11/19/05
waiting for EAD..
