Hi

Both me and my husband(primary) have done our FP on Jan 27 2005. Today we got the email for by husaband's application and the content is as below

"On February 1, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your
I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were
received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

What does this mean? FBI name check is done or they just received his finger prints?

Nothing to do with name check

This msg has nothing to do with name check. It is only a confirmation that USINS has recd. your fingerprints and the case has moved onto the next stage. Now in next stage if they find anything missing or more supporting documentation is required then they will rasie an RFE. You will get a letter from them in detail. If everything is fine then the final adjudication stage is entered, where a final decision is taken.
