Has LIN, but got FP from VSC

A friend of mine has got a LIN number for 140/485 from Nebraska, but got FP notice from Vermont that too in less than a month. What is going on ?
 
I still haven't got the receipt

My company filed the 140 and 485 applications early last month. How come people here got receipts within 10 days, but I have been waiting for them for more than 5 weeks?

I filed my Labor from IL so well Federal is Chicago.
I 140/485/AP/EAD, filed at Nebraka Service Center

I got an official I 797 FingerPrint Notice from INS, not sure if my lawyer got a copy though. He prolly did

Got a Mail from INS Vermont on 9/17 asking me to fingerprint on 9/30/04. I guess since I stay in NJ I got it from Vermont though all the filing was done in NSC.

That's true .... I received the finger print notice in July form Vermont Service Center since I live in NY state even tough my I-140/I-485 was filed at NSC.

2 FP Notices for wife

Guys,

Could someone share their experience/knowledge about receiving 2 FP notices. My wife received 2 notices.
My LUD online has not changed since last 1 week. I have neither received any email from INS.

There is no seperate fees for Finger Printing. 485 fess includes everything.
 
I also got my fringer print notice. But there is no change ONLINE. Is this Normal? How long does it take to update Online typically after one gets the fp notice???

Also, only my attorney got it, I did not get anything YET!
 
FP Fees

Correct me if im wrong, you saying that i gotta pay 70 bucks at the place were im supposed to have my finger prints taken ?

No U do not have to pay -- U have already paid the amt with the I-485 application.
