Fingerprint notice was lost

Guys,

I got my second FP notice scheduled for 4/9/04 one week back, but my wife hasn't got hers yet, I guess it was lost somehow, on my fingerprint notification, it says that

"IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED BELOW AND FAIL TO REQUESTING RESCHEDULING, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABNDONED"

Does anyone here had the same experience before and what can we do to fix this problem?

Your advice and comments are highly appreciated.

generally applicant get one copy of FP and Attorney gets another . So now if you have lost one , talk to your attorney get one copy from him/her . You can use any one copy to get FP'ed for individual.
 
I don't think your wife's FP notice was lost. INS doesn't always send the notices for a family together. Do your FP first while wait for your wife's notice.

My wife have not received her FP notice and neither lawyer. I could not do any thing about it. I did my 2nd FP in December.

I checked with my attorney, and they didn't get the notice either. What is going to happen if the fingerprint notice was lost (It is possible because mine was sent to my old address first and then was resent to my new address), will the application be abandoned (I am the primary applicant)?

I want to send a letter to USCIS about this, any thoughts?
