Fingerprint notice was lost

Guys,

I got my second FP notice scheduled for 4/9/04 one week back, but my wife hasn't got hers yet, I guess it was lost somehow, on my fingerprint notification, it says that

"IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED BELOW AND FAIL TO REQUESTING RESCHEDULING, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABNDONED"

Does anyone here had the same experience before and what can we do to fix this problem?

Your advice and comments are highly appreciated.

Don't worry, I got my 2nd fp notice 10 days after my scheduled date bcos of missed mail. I sent that back asking for reschedule and I got the new notice within 10-15 days.

Only thing is the delay in processing... my actual date was Feb 6th and now rescheduled date is april 7th.

I had same experiance , I did not recive my wifes FP , so I did in following way.........

Went to INS office to give your FP, Took wifes A number , LIN number , Full name , Old address , New address and Data of Birth on paper,and State ID ............

Today (04/03/04) finished giving my 2rd FP for myself and my wife......actually our Appointment was on 04/22/04 .....but I went today and request them .......they Accepted it.......everything went fine........
