Fingerprint not available - What is that mean??

Last year along with my 485 I applied for EAD and got it approved, it said "Fingerprint not available". After that I went for FP and now my 485 status says " Results of FP was received and processing has resumed....."
Couple of months back I applied for EAD renewal and got it approved early this month, still it says 'Fingerprint not available"

Do you guys know what is that mean?? Don't they have my FP details??:confused:
 
At the time of submission of EAD application forms, you have to imprint ur fingerprint on a card, which is optional. If you have submitted this then that FP will be on ur EAD card. If you do not submit then "Fingerprint not available" is printed on the EAD card. No big deal eitherway.

Do not confuse the 485 FP process with the EAD fingerprint. They are seperate formalities.
