I and my spouse applied for AOS in September 2005, and fingerprinting (code 3) was completed in Oct 2005. USCIS status page says results received and processing continues.
I think FP results expire sometime in 12-18 months. Is it customary for USCIS to schedule another round of FP in this timeframe?
Also, I am planning to travel out of the U.S. for about a month in mid-May 2007. I am concerned about the possibility that I or my spouse will get a FP appointment letter during that time, in which case, we will most likely miss the appointment. Is this is a legitimate concern? Anyone have such an experience?
