I had my FP today in Dallas. Thought I'd share what's involved maybe that will benefit somebody.
My appointment was for 8:00am, but my sister told me that the line would be so long that I probably should be there at 5:00am. I got there at 6:00am.
Not a soul was therewhen I got there. At around 7:45 the employees started arriving. When 8 o'clock finally arrived, I walked in and was the very first customer. No lines at all. They had more machines and employees than customers. Which was about three more people after me.
The staff was very helpfull and courteous. So I filled one of those yellow customer service statisfaction form and gave them a mark of excellent.

Now for the FP itself. Mine was done on one of those new FP machines. It tells the operator right away whether that print is good or bad after each scan. The machine at one point had some problems with one of my fingers and it took two people to hold my finger down on the machine so It could scan it properly.
After all the scans were done, a supervisor came over to do a quality control on the images.
The whole process took about 20 minutes.

Now, I wait for the next step.
