Fingerprint did in different asc???

I just did the fingerprint in San Jose ASC, my appointment should be in Oakland on Nov, somehow oakland reject my early fingerprint request. However, my lawer told me "it does matter - you will need to get re-fingerprinted on nov. in oakland because that ins office that has your file."
Anybody share your oppinion on this.

I don\'t think so. ASC is not an INS office so it doesn\'t keep your file. Also, check out this link:

Agree with you on that. However I am still planning to go to Oakland ASC on the date which is the scheduled appointment and asked them about this to be safe. If anyone have the same issue, may check INS or your lawyer and pls share your experience.

I think you should call FBI (FBI FP#: 1-304-625-5590 (option 4)) to check the status of your FP. This should clarify all doubts.

I was planning to check with FBI next week but on your querry I checked today.
FBI told me that FP was received on Oct 09 (same day, FP was done at ASC) and thay have send information to INS.
