Can somebody tell me(i know that with USCIS you never know), approximately, how long does it take in NY from the fingerprints appoitment to the "next step"? And what is the "next step"? Is it the interview? Will I receive a letter? My husband (he's a USC) filed for my green card through marriage in Sept 2002. My fingerprints appointment was in the begining of December 2004.
