You may check it online or over AVM using 485 case #

https://egov.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/cris/jsps/caseStat.jsp
As far as I know the FP information may be updated there, like

On November 06, 2002, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 APPLICATION TO ADJUST TO PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Hi mylvka,

Thanks for the reply.when i checked the case status using 1-485 receipt number i could see only the status like below.

Your I485 APPLICATION TO ADJUST TO PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS was received on October 18, 2002. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 420 and 450 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

can you suggest me?

Harsha

The online status checking system is not updated completely

Some guys got that updated a few days or more later. 3 of 6 my cases never found there. AVM phone system is more accurate than that.

Call the FBI to check the status of your FP. Fbi # is 304-625-5590 option#3.

Have your A# ready
Social security #
Date of birth

You don't need a case #.

Just do what OKUN said in the previous post, use ur ALien #, & they willl probably ask you your first/last name...

A #

Greenpeace:

A # is a number given to any person not a citizen or national of the United States. It is mostly given to you after your first stage of green card is approved.

It is usually located on you the second right column of either your fingerprint or notice receipt.
