Could anyone explain the difference between finger prints and biometrics? Sorry for asking dumb question. I think I only had finger print written on my finger print notice.

Finger prints vs biometrics

Hi Linux1112000,
I think Biometrics means they take your finger prints, digital signature and pictures at the center. We had given our finger prints on March 04. They took only the finger prints digitally, without ink. Some people who got code 3 on their FP notices, are giving the digital signatures and photos as well. I dont know on what basis they are sending like this. But some of them who got code 3 are getting approvals with cards directly mailed.
