Hello,
On 04/24/2001 I had my green card interview at the US Consulate in Juarez Mexico. To my surprise they finger printed me (Ink) and told me to wait about 30-60 days for the finger prints to clear. My interview questions where easy and I provided all of the requested documents (Employment letter, pay stubs, birth certificate, etc).
I am 100% sure that the finger prints will be clear since I have not comitted any major or minor crimes.
I am reading that sometimes the prints that are taken are of poor quality and new ones must be taken.
In my case if the finger prints are of poor quality do I have to keep on going to Juarez over and over again for the finger prints or is there an easier way of getting them. Can I just go directly to an FBI or INS office and request them ?
Does it really take as little as 30-60 days for the prints to clear.
Thanks for your help
