Finger Prints. Please advise

Hello Gurus,

I got my FP notice in california but currently I am working in Michigan. Can I give my FP in Michigan or do I have to give in California. Please advise.

1. 140/485/131/765 RD: 09/13/04 and ND 09/16/04
2. RFE's for 131/765 on 10/12/04 for Photos
3. I-140 AD 10/27/04 no RFE
4. FP notice on 11/12/04
4. Now waiting for 485.

It depends on your luck and the USCIS people's mood.

You try to go for early FP in Michigan. They might take your finger prints. If not they might ask to appear at Michigan office on the same day as mentioned in your FP notice. If this is the case, ask his/her name for future reference. This will be required in case if they don't accept to take your FP on the specified date, you can also tell them the name of the person who (mis)guided you.

In the work case, they might ask you to go to California.

It all depends on their mood.

If one office rejects, then try for another one. Who knows, nice and understanding people might be there....Good luck.
