Finger Prints Cleared in 2 days

Myself and my wife were fingerprinted on 07/15/2002. I just checked the VSC AVM and heard this " On 07/17/2002 the results of the FP review for I-485 has been received and processing has resumed......."

Thats not unusual.

In my case my finger printing was delayed by about 4 months.
but once the finger printing was done on 26 Mar 02
The AVM on 28 Mar 02 said finger print recieved and processing resumed.

it is normal

FP check is done thru computer and it will take only few minutes. Moreover your FP is transmitted to FBI electronically.

Well, since the FP's are over, now the files will be in the shelf for another 10 - 12 months before INS makes a decision
