Finger Printing

I got a finger printing notice before 10 days with an appointment to do the finger printing on July 10th. I went to the fingerprinting office immediately after I got the notice and got fingerprinted. The Online status was also updated.

Now yesterday I again got a finger printing notice with the same appointment date ...

Could you guys please help me what should I do ?

Has anyone been in the same situation ?

you can go to the office where you are scheduled for finger printing. point them out the new finger printing notice and finger print worksheet from the first fingerprint notice to them. they will give you the correct answer.

i believe if you have given your finger prints in the last couple of months, the office will ask you to ignore the new request.

there could also be a case, where you are asked to appear because your finger prints could not be read...however, reading your first post, i think this might not be the case.
 
On June 20, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.
 
Just go on the date mentioned, INS messes up at times and sends multiple FP notices. I know a guy who got his GC and then got his EAD approval and then a 2nd FP notice .. nothing to worry about really.
