Finger printing

I filed my I-485 in March 2000, After a couple of weeks they moved the priority date back to 97. My priority date in aug 99. Will they still look at my priority date for processing I-485? I haven\'t got my finger prints yet? How does this whole process occur?

Yes, they will. You may have to wait for a while before you get your finger-printing instructions under the current rules, but with some changes to the existing laws probable in the near future, your wait is likely to be drastically reduced.....
