Finger printing walking in.

1. If i have to go finger printing walk in. What excuse is needed or they don't ask anything. Also what is the best day to go and at what time.

2. How do you find FBI check is completed after finger printing.

Usually they do not ask anything. If the place is not far from your house, you can try. Maybe if you share the city, people may tell you their experience with walk-ins.
 
Also find out your city accepts walk-in.

Not all DO/ASC accept walk-in.

I did walk-in for my GC process, few years ago. They didn't ask me a single question why I am doing early. BTW, I did walk-in, in a different city/state. They were too nice. Only thing they asked me if I can wait for sometime. After an hour, we were called-in.
 
I see many posts mention that they got the fingerprint clearance the same day. I'm wondering how that is. Does everybody get a LUD right away after fingerprint is taken?
