Finger Printing - relocated - Need some information

Hi

I got the appointment for Finger Printing at Dallas but i recently moved to Seattle, Washington.

My attorney says its ok to contact the local USCIS office and get the FP done here.

I want to know whether its ok or not. What are the consequences? Or is it better to go to Dallas and get it done?

Your attorney is correct -- its OK to get it done in the new place.
All the ASCs link to the same database when they scan your FP notice -- so you don't have to go to Dallas just for this.

btw, make sure you send AR-11 and also update your address by calling the USCIS 800 number.
 
Go to the local ASC at least a week before the appointment and ask them if they will entertain you on the date of appointment or on the same day when you're visiting them. If they refuse you'll still have some time to go to Dallas.

Guys,

I moved at the same time CIS sent a FP letter and missed it.

The new address has been updated but they never reschedule fingerprinting. Anyone please advice what should I do?
