finger printing questions

Hi,

i'm new to this thread.I"m EB3 category india retrogressed year 2003. I will appreciate if gurus can answer these basic questions.

(1) what is biometric? I've done my finger printing in februay 2005. but it was only fingerprinting. can any one please explain if i've to go for biometric in future?


(2) When should i expect my second finger printing notice approximately? By reading other posts i figure out that finger print validity is 15 months. As i mentioned earlier my first finger printing was done on february 2005. so i'm, assuming that i will not be called before may 2006. Am i right?

Does gurus know the cases where people were called for second finger printing earlier than 15 month window period?



(3) Will that be any LUD change once i'm sent finger print notic?

(4) If the mails is lost of by any chance & if a person misses the finger print appointment then what are the consequences of it? In finger printing notice it does say that if you miss it then your case is consider abandoned . But just in case if some one misses this notice then is there any way out?

Bio metric is the process where the ASC will take your digital pic and right index finger print. Since EB3 is retrogressed world wide, I would think you can expect your bio notice once your PD is going to become current. I have not seen any LUD changes when the SC issues a FP notice. If you have used a lawyer to apply your 485, his/her office will also get a FP notice copy. Please go through the posts that will give you more details on all these matters.
