Finger Printing Question - Please help

Hi Everyone.
We have just received our finger printing, for Dec 12th in Chicago. My problem is we are going to india on Dec 2. Is there a way we can go for early finger printing. Please advise.

EAD - 2nd appoved in August 2004
F P - 8 Nov 2004.
 
In most cases, the early FP is available. I did today. Actually, it is scheduled on Nov 17, 2004. I think you can try to do. Explain your situation at your supporting center.
 
I had a bad luck, I went to the Naperville, Center this morning, The person at the door was Desi. He asked me to show him Finger printing receipts. But he looked at the priority date and asked for valid explanation. I had my air tickets with me, so then he called up the ins officer. Officer went inside to ask his boss and then came out and asked me if i would like to reschedule it after I come back from India. I told her, No thanks, I will come back on the scheduled date. But now i have to cancel all the family tickets. Such a pain.. what are pros and cons in rescheduling...
Is it even advisable to reschedule ?

Given the state of affairs at USCIS, any kind of rescheduling is not advisable. They might lose your request and you will be waiting for another one for years. I cancelled my trip to India for Finger printing. After all its just a one time affair in life to get GC so get over with it and then enjoy your life :D

JUst go on any saturday to the INS ASC office. They will allow you to give FP.I went in Boston.

Norridge ASC experience

My FP is scheduled for 12/1 and I went today and they said early FP cannot be done. The receptionist said I have to reschedule to a later date and mentioned I 've to do it 84 days from the appointment date or else the entire process has to be restarted.
Any one else have a difft experience at this center?
