Finger printing notice

How long does it take to ge the finger printing notice after INS receives the I 485 application. In my case, I received the confirmation notice from INS with March 21, 2000 as notice date. It\'s almost a year and did not receive my FP notice. Any insight would be appreciated.

    It took me exactly 1 year and 15 days after my ND to receive a call for FP. Since yours is March 21 2000, U shd. probably hear about it by March 31 2001. Hope this helps

WOW!!! It took me three months ( may be even less) to get Parole, EAD and Finger Printing notices on my I-485 application - EB1

Some one clarify this one. we had FP on 2/23/01, Now we got the FP notices for my kids they are 7 and 5(ages). What I have to do. Lawyer told need not go to for finger printing. Please respod immediately.
