HI All,
Please help me with this:
I moved to a new apartment 3 months ago and have updated the new address for myself and my wife. USCIS have updated my address but not my wife's. I asked my attorney to update my wife's address once again which they did. Meanwhile, I got finger printing notice for myself to my new home address but my wife did not get it. My attorney gave me an email saying that they received fingerprinting notices for me as well as for my wife but due to the address update on my case, my finger printing notice was scehduled on March 11, 2005 in an office close to my new address where as my wife's finger prints were sceduled on March 15, 2005 at the office close to my old address.
My attorney suggested me to take my wife along with me on March 11,2005 to the office where my fingerprints are scheduled and explain the officer the situation. she said they may consider taking my wife's finger prints also on the same day.
Did anyone face this situation and will the officer consider my wife's case if i take my wife along with me? Will this cause any issue or delay in my GC process?
If at all the officer does not consider my wife's finger prints on the same day as mine, I have to take her to the office where it is scheduled. Does this cause any issues or delays in my GC Process?
Please advise me.
