finger printing notice after Infopass

Hi Guys,

I'm called for finger printing on saturday next month. I'm EB3 india priority date march 2003. Last time I initiated the service inquiry before a month ago, I got wait for 6 month letter mentioning me that they wanted to review some additional information. Assuming that may be i'm stuck in name check After that i get infopass. Officer confirmed to me that my case is not stuck in any security or name checks. I've two questions.

(1) Do they take finger printing on saturdays? I'm called at hartford service center in CT on saturday .

(2) What do gurus say? Am i near to get the GC? Does getting the finger print notice a positive sign? May be they sent me wait for 6 months letter because my finger prints had expired?

you might be closer to approval man. I saw somewhere in this forum that someone was fingerprinted on Saturday and got approval on Tuesday (3 days from the finger printing). Who knows may be there is something with these Saturday FPs. Hang in there, give us good news soon...

What does your FP code states 1 or 2, Is this your 2FP right....
I gave my 2FP code 1(ten fingers) 2 days back ..called NSC today they told
they will take decision in 40 to 60 days , i think this is the standard msg ..they give.

folks this is my third finger printing.Didn't read in the letter what code was that. But i do remember that i've already given both FP code states 1 or 2 in the past.
