Finger Printing Date question

It is perfectly ok to do it before the actual date ... as long as the application support center will let you do it. The letting them do it depends on a variety of factors such as their workload, the time of day, their pattern in case of early FP (varies from ASC to ASC), your ability to explain your situation (because it is not a standard policy to do early FP) as to why you do not want to do it on your scheduled date and maybe some other factors.

Guys: Once you get the Finger printing letter, is it ok to get the finger printing done before the actual date?

Most of ASC are pretty empty nowadays so they most likely accept
walk-in FP. They are very bored and are happy there are guests visiting
them.

Signs of the economy?

I'd say the current crop of N-400's and their supersonic processing speeds may just be the result of ramping up for the 2007 N-400 stampede. Now that the dust has settled things can proceed at a faster pace. Plus we may be reaching the point that whoever wanted to become a citizen after years with a GC (not newly qualifieds) has already become a citizen...
