I applied for my N400 on Apr 15th, did my finger printing on May 27th, today i received another notice to do biometrics again, since FBI could not process the first set of prints. I need input from fellow members regarding 2 issues.
1) what should i look out for when i do next fp, basically is there any way i can ensure this time the fp are processed correctly.
2) will this delay my application. Or should i expect my interview to come as usual. MY DO is Newark NJ.

any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

use corn husk oil or corn huskers cream on finger. Search for a post on Dry fingers in this forum

I think madh4 answered the part about managing fingers. The application could potentially get delayed. It depends on how soon the other set of FPs get processed. Also, read up on how to get a police clearance ... applicants whose fingerprints did not work 2nd time were asked to get police clearance from all areas they lived in ... for the past 5 years. Knowing that you might have to do it if your fingers have some issue can help you plan and save time.
