Finger Printing at CSC

Hi ,

Has anybody received their finger printing notice around my date ( RD : Sept 29th and ND: Oct 17th 2000). I am quite anxious
to get my finger printing done.

Most of my friends ( RD : Aug 2000 and ND: Sept 2000) received their finger printing notices in the beginning of November and
have just received approval notices for their green card

Kind a same case. BTW, what\'s the difference between RD and ND. The message I get when I call up INS is that my application was received on 31st of Oct. Does it change to notification date of your I485 application is blah blah blah, or something, after a while.

RD is the date the INS receives your package. ND is the date they enter your info into the computer. When you call up the
INS you get info on the ND .

Anjali please post in the 485 discussion list regarding you case, ther are few unlucky people like us who has not got FP for Sep ND. Have you ever talked to an IIO, what was their reply, what is youe case category and PD. Please post details in 485 thread.

Hi ,

    My receipt date of I485 is Oct 10, 2000 and Notice Date is Oct 24, 2000. I got FP Notification on 1/20/2001 and the FP notofication date was 1/1/7/2001. I did my FP on 1/26/2001. The time was 11:00 AM. But one of my friend advised me to go early. I went at 9:00 AM and there was no queue. They gave me a form to fill. Before I could fill they called me. The receiptionist filled all the information. She asked me if I had EAD. I said NO. Then the technician asked me to sit in a chair. Applied some sort of moisturizing cream after exmining my fingers. They asked me rub it (just like mositiruzing lotion). Then they took FP of all 5 fingers together of each hand. Then each individual finger. Then a QA person verified it. They gave me a receipt and asked me leave. The whole process took 15 minutes.

   My wife also had at the same time and date.
