finger printing a sign of progress?

Hello, Fellows,

VSC received my NIW 140/485 case on 03/2003... But I have not heard anything from them except the receipt.

I was wondering if FP is a sign of progress? I have not be required to do it...

Is there similar case? or who has been FPed with a RD later than mine?

I don't consider FP notice as a sign of progress on your I140 application. FP is linked to your I485 only. And they sent it out in batches.

there's been some talk that they try to cut down the number of repeat FP's so they only issue the notice when they think there's a fair chance of your case being processed within the FP validity period - 15 mths.

15 months!!!

I'm sure they'll approve my i140 and i485 on time so that they don't have to do a second FP. I've already waited 15 months!
