finger print notice

I called IIO today, and found that INS doesn\'t correctly updated our new address, although we have called twice before and our AP was lossed because of that! IIO told me that our finger print was mailed out 10/3 with that wrong address, and my lawyer has not received his copy yet. My question is
1) Is the copy of our lawyer ok to do finger print?
2) If that notice is lossed, can we go to the service center for a new copy? Any suggestions?
ps: Our RD: 5/14, ND: 7/13 (southern california)

Lawyer\'s copy should be OK, so don\'t worry if it\'s lost

Regarding change of address, if you are not far from the service center(CSC at Laguna Niguel), it\'s probably more reliable for you to go there and ask IIO to change the address right in front of you, as I did last month.
