My I485 was filed on May 2003. I have not received a notice for finger print yet many people who have filed after me have received finger print requests. Is this normal? Please advice.

which service center and what category? depending on ur answers post
ur question in corresponding forum and this forum is for general 485

That should be okay. Our case was files at CSC in June 2003 and we received our request for finger-printing in August 2004. Although it will not hurt to talk to somebody at your service center about this.
