In a way it might be good if the FP gets deplayed because of the RETRO because FP is valid only for 15 months so the later you take the better it might be. On the other hand I can uderstand your eagerness to get the FP done because it alleviates your anxiety of not having everything done for getting the I-485 approval. I was in the same situation but FP really did not make any difference in my case yet.

My question is: If USCIS is gonna process my I-485 petition next month, and I still don't have Finger print done, what will happen?
Will USCIS hold on processing my case till they receive my FP result? or the FP result is not required at this moment?
