Finger print notice copy

Hi Folks,

  My lawyer recieved the finger print notice and he faxed it over to me. I did not get it at my house directly from INS. It has been a couple of days since my lawyer has recieved it. Assuming that I do not get the notice, is it okay to go for Finger print with a fax copy? Please let me know
