Finger Print notic in Two weeks

RD: 09/03/04
ND: 09/13/04
FP Notice Date: Received in mail on 09/17/04
FP Appointment: 09/30/04
 
Gurus ,Pls advice.

My attorney has filed my 140/485 together. Recently i applied for my EAD thru E-Filing. And i was asked to go for a finger printing by referring the EAD receipt no. to the nearest ASC center from my house.

Question : Do i need to OR will i be asked to go for another Finger Printing for the purpose 485 ? Please let me know.
 
in my case for EAD they just take yout thumb, for i485 the take all 10 fingers. so in short they are 2 different fingerprints

I have the 485 receipt no. Can i do the finger printing just by walking to the nearest application Support Center ? OR will they send a FP notice?

Also can you please tell me how much time it takes from the filing of 485 to get the FP notice?

Hi Vish,

Are you in EB3 or EB2 Category and from Vermont center? I am in EB3 category with RD:08/11/04 for 140/485. Did not receive any FP notice :(

Only when you get FP notice, you can for FP.

There is no time period to receive FP notices. You may receive it in 2 months or 15 months. But I have noticed EB2 guys are getting FP notice in one or two months. For EB3 guys, it takes a year or more.

Hi Apollo,

As per your messaage you are saying it takes a year or more for EB3 guys to get FP. Is it really true?

Look at Vish dates .. below he got his FP just in 4 days just after 485 Notice Date.

I140/485 - EB3 NSC.
RD: 09/03/04
ND: 09/13/04
FP Notice Date: Received in mail on 09/17/04
FP Appointment: 09/30/04

Gurus , Pls comment your views. I Just want to know more about when to expect FP dates after filing 485 in VSC under EB3 category.
