Finger Print issues for all local transfers

Hello

My wife's I485 has been transferred to Chicago local office.
(My I485 has been already approved.)

Here are all the case details for my wife:-

I485 applied: Jan 2002
1st FP: Apr 2002 FP was successful.
Moved to California and address change: Nov 2002
I485 Transfer to local chicago office: Dec 2002 (Transfer notice
was sent to new address in California.)

2nd FP notice: Oct 9 2003 (It still shows Illinois residence
address and the nearest INS support center in Illinois.)

My question is, can we go to the nearest INS support center
here in California? Will they take her fingerprint even though
actual fingerprint notice has Illinois INS support center address?

Has anybody gone through this situation?

Just to update all of you....

Today Oct 9th, 2003 we went to our nearest INS support center in California for fingerprinting. It went smooth. The officer asked us about our Illinois address. We told him that it is our old address and we have already sent a change of address notice to INS. That's it.

Also we did not have original notice with us. We took the fax copy sent by our lawyer.
