I have done my finger print last week well ahead of the original scheduled date 03/28/02. After that, I confirmed with FBI that they processed it and sent it back to VSC. But, the AVM message is not indicating that they actually received it even after one week. Is there soemthing wrong with my earlier appearance for FP? Please, help me to clarify it.... Thanks in advance...

Hi, I found from your post that you did FP in Boston. Me too. My scheduled date is 11/23/01 which is the day after Thxgiving. I did it in one week advance ( 11/17/01 ). The AVM didn\'t change until about two months later. It says that they received my FP result on 12/28/01 and case has been resumed. Yesterday I heard from AVM that my case has been approved.
I believe there was extra delay during Christmas time, that\'s why INS received my FP result so late. But I would think it is normal to take two weeks to one month for the FBI to send the FP to INS.
