Any one facing similar situation?


My status changed to "On May 4, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken".... but to date I have not received anything in the mail as of 10th. How long should I wait? Is there a way to contact uscis ? Do they reissue the appointment notice?

Did any one face similar situation?

It usually takes some time, 7-10 days typically, for the mail to arrive. I would wait for 4 more days, and if you do not receive anything, call their 1-800 number.

When USCIS sends you mail, they always say: "If you do not receive this notice within 14 days, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance."

Things always take longer than we think they should.
